I thought that my child ate a “mostly healthy” diet. Yes, I rarely cooked and we ate fast food, but she had never tasted soda, liked fruit and some vegetables, and wasn’t very interested in sweets. I was winning. Until I found out that my skinny-as-a-rail kiddo had a leaky gut and was pre-diabetic. ​
